My name is Adrienne and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have been a therapist in a wide variety of roles from providing counseling for individuals and couples seeking to improve their lives and relationships, to working with those experiencing acute mental health crises in psychiatric residential care. I have also worked with individuals within the criminal justice system, and I bring extensive experience in issues faced by individuals and their families, including addiction, trauma, and emotional and behavioral struggles.
In my free time, I enjoy ultimate frisbee, running, listening to podcasts, and looking for outdoor adventures.
Therapy allows us to uncover who we really are, who we want to be, and what is getting in the way, both for ourselves and in our relationships. Therapy cannot take away the challenges life brings, but it can help us navigate them and overcome obstacles to develop a life that feels meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling. I strive to nurture a genuine connection with my clients, and to create a nonjudgmental space for you to get in touch with what’s important to you. I draw on a broad range of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, humanistic, family-systems, heart-centered hypnotherapy, acceptance-and-commitment, and existential theories.
I work with individuals who may be experiencing:
